Parsing HTML mails

I want to know how work the option "parsing HTML mails", mean that i can include as part of the body of the email special field about the bug, example [status=resolved] ?? please confirm me this features.

it means that html formatted emails (not plain text emails) will be processed as much as that is possible to a plain text version of said email so that it can be properly inserted into a ticket
