No E-Mail Notification for External User

Hi,
We have 2 sets of users which are :
1) Internal User - using user@companyname.com
2) External User - using various e-mail. Example user@yahoo.com, user@gmail.com, etc
The problem that we faced is for Item 2 where there is no e-mail notification received. It will be in queue at the DB.
Based on our log, it shows,
2014-11-11 13:57 MYT mail ERROR: Message could not be sent - SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: user@gmail.com<p>SMTP server error: 5.7.1 Unable to relay
