Problem with Custom fields and custom status

Hello,

I have an problem when defining a custom field which is "Required on Resolve" and a custom status whose value is higher than assinged, 60 to be precise, but lower than resolved. When I want to set an issue to the custom status I always get the error that the custom field has to be filled, which in my opinion is wrong, because the issue is not resolved. Is there an option I haven't seen that I need to set?

you have unchecked the checkboxes "required" in custom field options?
