Dear All,

I'm using Mantis BT 1.2.19 for a short while and I have the following issue:
I want to disable sending email form a specific ‘administrator’ user.

Currently every user will send an email when they modify an issue of someone else.
As exception at this rule I want to have an ‘specific administrator’ whom is not spamming anyone else,
even not other administrators, by Sending email. Although this ‘specific administrator’ should still be able
to receive emails from others.

How to set up this user specific setting for NOT sending any email at all?

I am not sure if I understand right what you want.
Is the following example what you mean?

Mantis should send email if user U1 adds notes to issues, but no email should be sent if user U2 adds notes to issues?

Indeed :
1) The Regular Users (U1) should keep sending emails when they modify another ones issues.
2) The Specific Administrative user (U2) does bulk modifications and should not send any Email at All.
Both users (U1 & U2) their modifications should be added in the issue/ticket-notes.

The intention is not to spam anyone his/her email box with this bulk operation.
Remark: All other users with Administrator-rights belong to the U1 group.

Assuming that I need an SMTP-disabling setting for this specific user.

This is not possible out of the box.
You would have to change source code of Mantis or write a plugin to get what you want.
