Does anybody know how to fill due_date via GUI? I cannot find an input field for that, but this field exists in "manage colums".
you can define which fields need to visible in the report/update forms.
See for examples in config_default_inc.php
Do not make changes in that file but create adjusted settings in core/config_inc.php
