I'm just in the process of a major upgrade of our Mantis installation from 1.2.19 to 2.24.1 (the test upgrade worked great) along with a switch to a windows server.

I have been asked to look at switching the login method we use from MD5 to LDAP.

Has anyone tried this?
Is there a document somewhere which defines the steps needed to transfer user accounts between authentication methods?

Ideally I'd like to replace current users with the new users, we are only a small team, so a manual process would be OK
