How to delete attachment (but not note)?

How do you delete at attached file?
It used to be possible to delete an attached file, but with Version 2.24.0, that option seem to be gone.
No, I don't want to delete the note it is associated with.
The problem is our crappy e-mail system appends a slew of images to every e-mail, and they end up in notes that are submitted via e-mail reporting. I've tried (without success) to add fingerprints to prevent the image files from getting attached in the first place...
