Emails not fetched with simple "Test" as it succeeds with a success message

Hi Team,

We have configured an IMAP for one of our email accounts. It is observed that the emails not fetched with simple "Test" as it succeeds with a success message even through there are unread emails in the INBOX. When "Complete Test" is done, then emails are fetched without any issue.

Kindly suggest what could be the solution for this.

This is expected behaviour, it means you configured it correct. Now you can setup the scheduled job to do it on a regular interval.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. The scheduler was already running and since it could not generate the tickets and couldn't make the emails 'read', I am manually testing it. Upon complete test only, the email was pulled, marked 'read' and ticket is being created.

Moreover this is happening for only few mailboxes. Other mailboxes are working fine. Please suggest a solution for this problem.

Since you mention it is working for most mailboxes, check out the difference between a working and a non-working mailbox. Are they the same or different (for example Office365)? How many mailboxes do you have in total? Can you consolidate mailboxes?
You can setup rules in a mailbox to move mails into folders and retrieve emails from folders into corresponding projects.
