Mantis Bug Tracker - Forums

Ok, my company have desided to use Mantis as a bag tracker and I have installed it on our server....

Now I have a couple of questions.

The first one is, How can I submit a bug VIA emails???

Second I have not understend how can I create my own page that will show the user his bags on other locations??? (like SOAP service???? or other web service???)

One way, which is only good if you have a small number of users:

You can create and save a filter for each user.

On view_all_bug_page.php, top left click Reporter and choose the name of the user.
Apply.
Save filter.


Then click Manage Feeds, to find the RSS feed link for that filter.

Copy the link, and now you can paste that link to display that feed on other locations like Netvibes.com or Pageflakes.com, or any feed reader.

1. The link is to teh post has NO replay's so it no help...

2. I am more interested in a way to do a PUSH method of information on projects...

I prefer that MANTIS be on the local dev server and the user sebsites are on the Production server that is OUT of the local domain.
