Hello,

I have created a new user with username, realname and email address. But this one doesn't exist in our AD.
What I want to do, is to assign to him a category so that emails (issues) from mantis for this category are sent to that email address.
The user has "Developer" as access level.

But when i try to assign a category to him, an arror occurs : "user does not have required access level".

Any idea?

Is it a private project?
If yes, check that you assigned the user as developer to the project.

No it is a public project.

Which MantisBT version do you use?
