javascript notes/action...

hello,
I did a thing like the action or note box (in a bug view, there are boxes that you can expand or shrink with a javascript script). I'd like to understand how it works and especially the var 'g_div_bugnotes = 0x0002;'. What is the '0x0002' ? If I want to do the same, what value have I to put (for example g_div_bugXXX = .....
?
