Overall Priority

Hello everybody,
I am in need of a 'Overall Priority'. I am dealing with several projects,
who report bugs in Mantis. These projects itselves have a different
priorities, so that a minor bug in Project1 might be more severe than a
major bug in Project2. I did some research, but I could not find any hint
on a customisation like this.
So now I think of doing it myself. I'll add a priority field to the projects
table and will change some views to calculate an 'Overall Priority' from
the projects priority and the bugs priority.
Now I like to hear your feedback and any comments are appreciated.
