Started exploring Mantis, i am trying to install Mantis-1.0.8 on Windows-XP
After looking at the configuration did modification where ever necessary, but after that itried running using the comman 'imstart.cmd' got following error

Had another version of MYSQL running, but i did stop before tying the command
After this not sure what is the next step

Any help appreciated

Hi Sudarsan,

I've done my installation on windows XP as well. You might want to consider downloading and using WAMP. Which has the latest versions of PHP, Apache, Mysql bundled into one. This greatly simplified installation. You don't have to touch a single config file before you begin.

Once WAMP is up, just put mantis in the www directory of your server and you're ready to roll.
