Mantis hangs up while making a change
Posted: 13 Jun 2025, 10:42
Mantis: 2.26.2
PHP: 7.4.33
MySQL: 8.0.33-25
IdeaWebServer/6.3.1 (like Apache)
Database client version: libmysql - mysqlnd 7.4.33
Hosted at the web service provider
Hi, we have been using Mantis for almost a year now and for the last week it has been impossible to work on it.
I select a Project -> Issue -> I 'm making changes to e.g. the status of an issue or adding a comment(with or without an attachment) -> I go to the Close Issue window -> I click close issue -> the page just hangs and loads endlessly. After about 2 minutes I get an error 400, 405 or 500 for the bug_update.php file . During this time it is not possible to refresh the page myself to log into Mantis again, only clearing cookies in the browser helps. Then I can browse projects again.
I have managed to do something over these few days and so far somehow it is working, but when updating a Issue the bug_update.php file loads 2-10sec, sometimes 1m-1m30s or after 2m it gives an error as above.
Has anyone encountered anything like this? I can give more information, just need to know what kind.
Thank you in advance for any help.
