Hi,

I opened a bug more then a year ago (http://bugs.mantisbt.org/view.php?id=3675), fortunately I've found the resolution and included it in a bugnote.

I couldn't find another way to sign: this bug can be closed now.

Usually adding a note like you have will trigger one of the developers to make the changes in the source code and close the issue.
