Can disabling accounts, due to e-mail receipt failure, be disabled?

At a small subset of MantisBT instances, I've had my accounts disabled because my e-mail address has blocked mail receipt from them. Regardless of whether they'll heed my advice, can I advise the administrators to disable this automatic account disablement, or does MantisBT not provide a way to disable this?
