Hi list,

This is my first e-mail on this forum. I would like to know why I can't connect Mantis on my localhost.

I allways get the following message:

"Your account may be disabled or blocked or the username/password you entered is incorrect."

Can anyone help me with this ?

Regards
Ezequias

If it is a new installation, did you try logging in with user name "administrator" and password "root"?

No,

This is the default configuration user and password ?

I did the root password as the root of MySQL. Am I correct ?

The default user name / password combination is different between MySQL and Mantis.

MySQL: "root" / ""
Mantis: "administrator" / "root"

So when installing Mantis you will need to use MySQL combination for Mantis to be able to create a database. However, once installed, you will need to use the Mantis combination for login. Then you should change the password and ideally the user name too.
