Hi,

currently i`m trying to install version 1.0.0a3 at my webserver (root-server).

The mantis directory has all rights which could be marked in WS_FTP LE: execute, read, write, all 3 users.

But still, when running install.php the "pre installation check" failed on the

" Checking that configuration file can be created"

property. It is of status "Bad".

Can anyone tell me why?

Aha. Someone found the alpha installer code :)

This indicates that either the config_inc.php file already exists, or that the root of the mantis directory is not writable by the web server.

Everything should work if you follow the old install instructions.
