while reopening a bug after closing only its resolution changes to open .Its status is still closed
what to do pls help

What do you have the following configuration option set to?

# Status to assign to the bug when reopened.
$g_bug_reopen_status = FEEDBACK;

I don't quite understand your question and what you want to do. Please explain and list the actions that you have taken in this scenario. That would help to understand the situation.
Besides, please also state your cause to re-open the issue. Would it be the fix for the issue fails? Or the issue record requires further updates?
