Is it possible to remove those kinds of fields (or make them invisible) from all pages (filter, "Report Issue", "Viewing Issues" etc.)?

If it is, how can I do that?

why is it that all ways to fix Mantis issues relate to modifying files? Surely this could be an option in a menu? I know I'm not alone asking for more options for the less html savvy.

I appreciate this is free but it would be great to get some additional options in the manage section.

For instance, I want a Project, then bugs, and a backlog of work. I can then tie bugs and backlog implementation a sprint release. I only need a handful of fields for the backlog and the usual fields for the bug database.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
