Mantis Bug Tracker - Forums

We're using Mantis 1.1.1. Everything was working fine until 3 or 4 days ago. Now when a new issue is submitted, the designated recipient doesn't get an e-mail. They only see it when they log into Mantis. About the same time, the ability to upload files broke.

There were no changes to the configuration. The only change to anything I made in the last week was adding two new users. I'm the only one with administrator access.

For uploading, I checked the disk usage on the server and we're only using 10% of the allotted disk space.

The only possible explanation I can think of is that the database somehow got corrupted, but if so, I'm not sure how to fix it.

This might sound silly but did you check the [ Manage ] => [ Manage Configuration ] => [ Email Notifications ]?

The problem turned out to be an issue with my host provider. There was something hung up in the mail process on the server. It wasn't affecting regular e-mail though, just applications that send e-mail. I didn't get a detailed explanation, so that's all I know about it. It works now.
