Mantis Bug Tracker - Forums

New here, don't use Mantis but am helping out someone else. I've searched - no joy.

The bug manager for our company would love to be able to have Mantis generate sequential bug IDs for each program rather than having a single sequential series across all programs. I can't find anything in the GUI config part of the system that would allow this.

Is it possible?

Is it a simple switch somewhere or does it require writing custom code?

If it's custom code, which php file has the code that would need to be customized?

Sorry - we're using version 1.0.0a2

This is not supported. Also the change to allow it will not be trivial, since any reference to a bug will need to include both the project and the non-unique id.
