Hi - we are currently using 1.1.7 and are considering a move to 1.2.0rc1.

We have "."s in our usernames - format is generally initials.ext, e.g. ab.6056

The version we are using does not allow "." so we use "_" instead.

Will the new versions with AD integration allow us to use "."s in usernames such that we can use our Windows logons unchanged?

you can define the allowed chars in the config with a regular expression. just check the config default file
