"category" field only contains "(select)" item

On the ITK mantis, "Category" is a required field but the drop down box only contains one item "(select)". Is this a problem with mantis? Or do I just need to talk to the ITK people about their mantis configuration?

talk to the ITK people,
some of their projects have no assigned categories

david, in the project management, the categories for each project need to be set, I do not know if you have suffient rights for this, but it can be done in Management -> Projects, click on a project and scroll down a bit

Ok, I let them know. I just thought it may have been a bug or something since a required field was empty - maybe there should be an option for if that field should be required (so that if it is empty, it is not required)?
