Starting with Mantis

I have just started using mantis and I would like to organize projects for different customers.
1 - How can I make sure that one customer is not going to see bugs in the project of another customer?
2 - can I, with a manager role, easily navigate between projects?

Thanks

Hi,

Managing access to projects is achieved by firstly making the project itself private, then adding the various users to each project.

By adding your own manager account to all projects but only adding your clients to their own projects you will be able to do exactly what you're asking.

Thank you very much for the answer.

before I start opening projects: is it possible to search bugs across projects, as manager? For instance, if I am viewing one project and want to see if there are related items in other, can I make a search in all projects at the same time or would I have to open&search each project separately?

Thanks

So long as you have the 'All Projects' project (which is automatically added to the project dropdown) selected then yes, you can search across all projects.

By doing it this way, you are able to restrict your search to the current project as 'the default' but you can widen your search whenever you like.
