Mantis Bug Tracker - Forums

I have configured mantis on my host. I don't have control about OS (suppose beign running some linux distro). I have PHP 4.3.9, and MySql 4.1.7, and mantis install worked like a charm.
Then I configured two projects, and tryied to configure the path for file uploads (of type DISK). I had to make some test to discover that I need to put absolute path for files on project details.
After that, I could upload some files. The filename is obfuscated because my path is under mantis directory, but on "Docs" (on menu), never appear anything. I executed "SELECT * FROM mantis_project_file_table", and they are all there. Opening the server throught ftp client, I can see the files. So why don't they appear on docs page?
I'm using mantis 1.0.0.rc2.

I have the same problem here when logged in as an administrator. If I log in as a manager the documents appear. A manager and an administrator both can upload and view document.
Maybe you can try this out to see if you have the same problem. If so, I think we have a bug on our hands... :)

You are absolutelly right. I think this is a boring bug - or this isn't a bug, it should be documented on manuals.

In my rc2, administrators and managers can't see the docs, "lower" users can.

problem also occurs in rc3. The problem is solved (workaround) however:
