Hi
I face two type of problems with Mantis mail alerts.
i) I've configured Mantis to alert managers with any change/update status of any bug. Two of the managers said that they do not want mail alerts & hence all mail alerts were disabled for them individually. But even then they receive mail alerts, not all but on a random basis. Is there any other place where to check for this setting?
ii) Few bugs were assigned to one of the developers, but there was no mail alert received by him. I checked the SMTP relay agent & there's no entry for mail submission for this user at that time. Checked the individual user setting & could not see any disabling of mail alerts - default settings are in place.
Is there any mantis log to check whether a mail alert was generated while assigning to this user?
Please help.

I dont think any one else is experiencing this issue nor any one could find/provide a fix for this.
i) I just did some more analysis & found that there's a table-mantis_email_table in the database which contains all the mails for those users for whom the mail alert is disabled. I just deleted those from the table & now see that my smtp relay agent logs had lesser entries for the disabled users. This means that Mantis still generates mails for the disabled(mail alerts) users. The smtp relay agent log shows that it receives mail from Mantis for for the (mail alert) disabled users upon new bug updation
ii)Seems from the update issue page, when the bug assignment is changed, alert mail is not sent to the assigned users. But assigned mail alert is sent out if assignment is made from new bug page or the issue's assign to option. I hope assign to option should be disabled in the update issue page or should enable the mail alert to the assigned user.
