adding relationship when copying

Hi
I really need to find/write an easy way to make relationships across projects. I know how to duplicate a bug and then move the duplicate to another project, or I may copy a bug and then set the relationship manually.
My problem is with bugs that apply to many projects, or when a new project is started based on source-code that still contains bugs. Is there a way to avoid going manually through every copied post? (I know that I can copy a bug that allready has a relationship - but still that is a two-step process)
