Weird results when Search field used and big subset of recors returned - max bugs for page settings ignored, no ways to jump into second-trird pages

Steps To Reproduce

Try to find "0.17.5" here
Results "0-31 from 45 bugs shows" with default "50 per page"
how anybody can to see bug 32?!

try to go to the 4th or 5th page (out of 6 total)
it displays "Viewing Bugs (0 - 0 / 277)" at the top

another test case:
search on this mantis for "search"
it displays 23/46 results, even though the filter is set to display 50 results.
