| Summary | 0003695: Link to next/previous bug in detailed view bug screen | ||||
| Description | I think it would be a nice feature if I am able to jump to the next or previous bug when I'm in the view bug screen. Now I have to go back to 'View Bugs' and then select the next/previuos bug. Preferably, this feature should use the filter I have set. | ||||

How would you determine what the next/previous bug was? Based on the filter set before you clicked on the first bug? Numerically? Date filed? Restricted by what project(s)? What users(s)? Which bugs would you want to see? It isn't as easy as adding an additional query in the HTML output. |

There is the filter, stored in the cookie MANTIS_VIEW_ALL_COOKIE. The only thing you additionaly need is the current position of the bug you are viewing, which can be stored with this cookie. The previous (next) bug could be found with the same query with "LIMIT <position - 1>,1" ("LIMIT <position + 1>, 1"). In fact, one could select the bug in de "View Bugs" screen with this instead of the bug-id. |

It this now possible with the new Filter System? I think this is a wonderful Feature. |
