| Description | installation mantis works just fine though whenever the installation is checked/upgraded, via /admin/install.php, the install.php claims the db settings do not exist. | ||||
| Additional Information | using default configuration setup from an ubuntu installation of mantisbt; with db port and host left blank, mantisbt must default to localhost and 3306. in this condition the admin/install.php shows Checking Database connection settings exist BAD as mentioned, filling out the host setting (leaving port blank, defaults to 3306, apparently) is enough to pass the test just strange that this check fails but mantisbt works fine | ||||
