Summary0026984: REST APIs allows new lines in issue summary field
Description

This is not allowed by the UI and is not handled consistently. For example:

  1. Issue View page shows the summary as one line
  2. My View and View Issues pages show multiline.
  3. Updating the summary changes the value to a single line, with history that shows multi-line, etc.

Hence, the REST API should block use of multi-line summary fields.

Do we need some kind of cleanup task to remove newlines, or maybe an admin check ?
