| Summary | 0004105: click on category to automatically filter | ||||
| Description | would be nice to be able to click on a category name in the category column (eg "bugtracker", "feature", "sql" etc) and have it automatically filter to that category. this seems an intuitive interface to me, and more convenient than selecting from a pulldown list then having to click 'filter', when you are browsing long webpages. (eg, you dont have to scroll back to the top of the page and fiddle with buttons) could probably be applied to other columns as well (severity, status) though the utility there may be somewhat less. | ||||

its a UI difference between 1 click and 4 clicks for filtering. 1 click is a lot more convenient :) |

Although... given what we do with other columns, we'dp robably need to consider whether to actually link to a 'view category' type page - for example, user currently links to 'view_user_page.php' |
