Summary0005070: I have written quick-start documentation if you're interested
Description

I wrote a 10-page Mantis quick-start document that I have made generic if you are interested in looking at it. It would be a good companion to someone giving a demo to managers and the like.

There are a very few things that I left blank because I was unsure of them, and I also made it the default to let managers create projects. Other than that, I believe it is very accurate, concise, and useful to jumpstart a Mantis installation within a company.

I have it in .pdf, .doc, and .sxw (which I've attached).

I'am currently in the process to introduce Mantis in the company I work for and I'am interested in this kind of document. Could you publish the "doc" version of this document.

This looks good. I didn't review the document in detail yet, but I think it should be added to the website and integrated into the manual. That's assuming that rodzilla doesn't mind.

Thanks for the good work.

Absolutely use it to however you want. I'll add a creative commons license to the doc when I have a moment. Until then:

Did you consider GPL license? Just to keep things simple.

Okay, GPL, that is fine.

(The CC license says the same thing. Credit the author, and you can modify and make derivitive works and distribute it but do so only under the same license. GPL would make sense, though, to keep consistent with the software.)

I've updated this document somewhat for clarity and added information pertaining to the upcoming 1.1.0 release.
