Summary | 0006065: add ability to move attachments between issues
Description | I have users filing issues in 3 places to handle different aspects of a problem, using relationships to tie them together. But they often attach files to a random member of the related group, rather than considering which aspect of the problem the attachment belongs with. I know I can download/delete/re-upload the attachment but I would like to preserve the original uploader and date. Plus it seems like a useful management function in general. Ideally this function would move the attachment to the storage area of the new issue, instead of leaving it in its original upload location. I have my project attachment directories in a hierarchy by project, so I can use 'du' on the server to see how much space each project is using. (Besides, how do you evacuate a project and delete it when the old attachments are keeping the original directory alive?) If moving an issue between projects does not also move the attachment, then the ability to move an attachment to the same issue and force it to re-home under the new project would be nice as well.
