Summary	0008901: using version/built as timline - release versions automatically by date
Description	We use mantis for project management and think of using the version/built field as kind of timeline. The idea is to create "versions" which are "2008 1st quarter", "2008 2nd quarter" and so on and define a deadline for each issue by setting it's "target version" to a period, which means the issue has to be resolved at 31st of march if it's target version is "2008 1st quarter". Now to controll this, we have to manually "release" the "2008 1st quarter" version on 31st of march and have to do this job every 3 month again. Could there be an automation for releasing versions on a predefined date and perhaps send an e-mail to the manager about each still open issue within this version/release? (Perhaps anyone has an even better idea on how to handle this deadline idea with automatic release feature).
