Here is a really really simple procedure to install Mantis on Windows XP in less than 5 minutes using wampserver 2.0b and mantis1.1.1

Downloaded wampserver 2.0b (Apache 2.2.8, MySql 5.0.51a, and PHP 5.2.5) and install on Windows XP box.
Type http://localhost in browser to confirm successful ...

Is there a step-by-step procedure for installation of Mantis on windows ? why is it so damn frustrating to get it installed on windows. I would like a few pointers. Thankx in advance.

I am trying to install Mantis 1.1.1 on windows as per the following procedure:

Downloaded wampserver 2.0b (Apache 2.2.8, MySql 5.0.51a, and PHP 5.2.5) and installed on Windows XP.
http://localhost confirmed successful installation. This also creates a folder c:\wamp

Next, Downloaded Mantis-1.1.1 ...

For the past several days, I have been trying to download InstantMantis-1.1.1.zip from your website. But unable to do so. I get "The HTTP redirect request failed" message. Please help with the exact download URL. Thankx
