Error During Installation Mantis 1.1.1 on Windows

I am trying to install Mantis 1.1.1 on windows as per the following procedure:

Downloaded wampserver 2.0b (Apache 2.2.8, MySql 5.0.51a, and PHP 5.2.5) and installed on Windows XP.
http://localhost confirmed successful installation. This also creates a folder c:\wamp

Next, Downloaded Mantis-1.1.1.tar.gz, unzip into temp file and copied the contents into c:\wamp\www\MANTIS folder

Then running http://localhost/MANTIS will open pre-installation check webpage. After entering information under Installation Options, I click "Install/Upgrade Database". then, I get the following message under "Attempt to connect to database as admin"

BAD -Does administrative user have access to the database? ( Access denied for user 'administrator'@'localhost' (using password: YES) )

Can someone help me with this problem. Thank you in advance
