A friend of mine and I were getting ready to write a PHP program that would start to provide us with some standard reports out of Mantis. Once we were done we were going to share it with the community.
Before we get into this too far I'd like to make sure a standard reporting framework does not ...

Re: Can't change project
Actually I've seen this also. I just upgraded to the latest version this weekend. It is very odd. I have to find various ways to click around to get the project changed. I am use to just clicking on the project at the top (I enabled the project bar) or the project in the dropdown, create issue, and ...

Re: Problem altering columns
Found my answer by searching long and hard.

Problem altering columns
I just upgraded my release to the latest 1.2 that you can download from the website. I had two issues.
1. During the upgrade I copied the config_inc.php to the new folder as per the instructions. When I had completed the upgrade all of the config values I had changed were back to their defaults. I ...

Re: MindMaps
Thanks. That looks like it could get messy very fast. How many issues does it map per project, or is that controllable.

MindMaps
Does anybody have a screenshot of what the mindmaps look like? I'd like to know before I decide to move to 1.2 if this is a useful feature for us.

Re: Bug ticket times
Each issue has an ETA field where you can pick some fixed amounts i.e. "1 day", "2-3 days", "a week", etc. Since you only need estimates that would probably suffice.

Is there complete segregation?
If I want to use Mantis for multiple clients and multiple groups of developers/managers/reports is the segregation complete (assuming I restrict the right people to the right project of course)? Nobody on project A/Client A will ever be able to see anything about Project B/Client B - even if the ...

Using Mantis as your PM tool?
Does anybody use Mantis for a project management tool as well as issue management? I was thinking you could just turn all of your WBS items into issues to track them. Just a thought.

How do I reopen an issue
I just downloaded the latest stable version and installed it last night. I've been playing around with everything I can do to an issue. One thing I cannot figure out is how to open it back up. I can change the status all day long. But I cannot see how to change the resolution from 'fixed'
And where ...

Re: 1.2.0a2 release
Bump.
In addition... how unstable is the development version? I'd like to download this and start using it on a full time basis. I don't mind using bleeding edge code in exchange for bleeding edge features... as long as it works for the most part.
