Ive rechecked. and the error is:- PROBLEMS SENDING MAIL TO: gordon@*DOMAIN*.com. Please check your php/mail server settings.

Ive recently installed a new MANTIS, & testing my FORGOT PASSWORD feature.
1) it does not say new code sent (or whatever it says)
2) im not receiving any emails with new password code etc...

Ive fixed my config_inc.php hours ago (lunchtime now)
and Ive retried the password reset, & gettng ...

Cleared all cache for the mantis site & now fixed i think (EDITED)

NOT FIXED.

Now im adding a new category & get the same error

FIXED IT

Added $g_form_security_validation=OFF to the config file, reset my password & now turned it back ON

FURTHER: I've deleted the MYSQL tables in the mantis database
- I've removed the old mantis directory in the server

I've downloaded the latest MANTIS files & installed all the MYSQL tables etc

I *CAN* Log in - but when i change my password, i get:

APPLICATION ERROR #2800

Hello. Ive had mantis a few years (but havn't used it - I even disabled/removed the mantis subdirectory, but all the files are intact. No one could access it).

Ive now restored the mantis subdirectory, but cannot log-in.

1) when i use FORGET PASSWORD, i get an error

APPLICATION ERROR #2800 ...

this person says theyve uploaded something - but i have no idea where... (Ive emailed them to ask but i shouldn't need to do that..)

most if not all you can find back in the history table, you also can check the timeline

when I go to "changelog" it says - No Change Log information available. Issues are included once projects have versions and issues are resolved with "fixed in ...

Just saw this reply. thanks, but not what I'm after.

a) Person logs in, registers - gets authorized on my website
b) on a daily / 6-hour or so absis, it creates a file (automatically)
c) Those authorized people now are authorized on mantis. (automatically)

If for some reason, they get removed ...

I've had an email advising they've uploaded a file to mantis. I've been through ALL the issues (luckily only 6 so far) and cannot see any new activity.

I've found a few threads, indicating that folk can do direct MYSQL actions to update / insert things into mantis.

Queries

:- Is there a tutorial / background of the table layout & how to add new entries into mantis.

IE - Project name, Title, description etc - any fields that are ...

Could it be added in future.. - would it be useful ?
