I don't think we use cronjob to send emails.

Anyway there were around 40 mails in the queue and after deleting the ones with an invalid address the system was working alright again. This is definitely different behaviour compared to the previous version.

Well, we finally found the problem.

the email queue contained old email messages (of year 2009 for example!) with invalid sender email adresses (employees that left the company). Apparently the old version just ignored these messages and did sent the other email messages.

However 1.2.19 obviously ...

The webserver log doesn't have any errors/warnings, same for the mailserver. Everything seems fine, except it isn't working

Isn't there another way to fix this? I'm not keen to start testing things on an operational system.

Now I have another problem since I cannot reset passwords for users. I tested the functionality of resetting password on my own account, but apparently the old password is deleted as soon as I click ...

We upgraded from mantis 1.2.11 to 1.2.19, since then the emails are not being sent anymore.

As far as I can see the config_inc.php is still ok.

Any idea where to look?

Mantis is installed on a QNAP NAS.

Well, I was a bit too soon. I keep getting problems when someone logs in with a wrong password. In that case the page just keeps hanging and nothing happens. I have to close the browser to be able to login again with the right password.

Anyone an idea what's happening?

Not sure what you meant here, but you triggered me :)

Apparently I only set the smtp settings in the config_inc.php of mantis but didn't change the settings in the php.ini of PHP itself. Funny that sending the emails did work actually....

So updating the php.ini solved the ...

I'm testing mantis 1.1.8 on a wampserver. Everything seems to be running ok, except that I cannot add users. When I add a user, he receives an e-mail but when he clicks on the link and sets his password. Nothin happens at all, it seems like the browser is stuck.
