Install Mantis

I am installing Mantis on my local xp box; I have installed wamp 5 but don't know how to begin the mantis install; I guess I don't know how to reference
http://yoursite/mantis/admin/install.php

on my box.. its really basic, but I could use some help.

the more I think about it (and I will text this theory) it is due to my import; I bet that the notes are from the old issues but have the same id so that's why they are combined.. I hope!

the notes for issue #3 for example are in issue #3 but so are the notes from issue #10 (for example)

I did try to import files from mantis that was on another box and I had to go 'table by table' and change the import to say 'create if not exist' but I only did a few tables....

I did this through ...

Notes from other issues

All of a sudden my notes are co-mingeling and showing up in the wrong issue; database corruption? I'm not sure what to do

when I go to import, I'm told the table already exists; I want to append to the table or update it; when I exported it, I exported as file type 'update' but I'm still having the same error.

I have 2 sep. issues.. i imported data from a unix box into mysql and ended up with 2 mantis databases; how do I merge the two?

what should I use to nightly backup my database - I am running windows

also, is there a way to have a calendar, similar to a google type thing - where we could put work plans etc ?

Import tables

I have managed to create 2 databases - I took my mantis data from another box and thought I was inserting it into my new mantis database; instead,I created another. How do I (running Windows, not UNIX) insert the records from one database to the other.?

location of mantis files

I need to run mantis from my d: drive since we have a very small c: drive; I have wamp5 currently running on c and so that is where the www files are; when I take Ed's suggestion and put Mantis in the www directory, eveyrthing is great.. but I have about 1/2 mb of disk space left.. so..

Very basic help

I have installed Wamp5 1.6.6 to my windows 2000 box; I have installed Mantis 1.0.6.

Both of these things are on the d: drive as we have not space on the c:

So although I say I installed mantis, I probably didn't; I download and unzipped it. I don't see a 'install.exe' file so I wasn't sure how to ...
