How do I remove group actions that I do not want to use?
For example if I want to remove update sticky/unsticky, and update priority from the dropdown, what would I need to do?
Regards
Nitya

All reporters getting mails :(
Hey everyone,
I've configured mantis with LDAP. And I've applied a patch for automatic member creation. So anyone who logs into mantis becomes a user with reporter privileges. The good news is that for every new reporter who reports a new issue, the reporter doesn't get a mail (as expected)

Hi Sudarsan,
I've done my installation on windows XP as well. You might want to consider downloading and using WAMP. Which has the latest versions of PHP, Apache, Mysql bundled into one. This greatly simplified installation. You don't have to touch a single config file before you begin.
Once WAMP ...

Thanks a ton DGhost
DGhost, one big hug for you! I spent a few weeks struggling to make Mantis LDAP to work with my company's AD. It's working like a charm now. My params look like this :
$g_login_method = LDAP;
$g_ldap_server = 'ldap://192.111.11.55/';
$g_ldap_port = '389';
$g_ldap_root_dn = 'OU=xxx,OU=xxx,OU=xxx ...

Hey
I get the same error. This can be fixed by plugging the right root dn values, and change the bind dn to username@domain.com.
The only thing is that it has been a couple of weeks since I did this and I've forgotten what the right root dn values are.

Woohoo, it works
ARGH!!!!
Okay so my email was working all along. With both SMTP servers.
Only, admin/check.php is not very reliable. When I send a test email from this page, it says "mail sent successfully" but nothing reaches me.
However, the mail sent by the report/view/assign pages works perfectly.

Emailing to mailids provided by anonymous users.
I've enabled anonymous login in my mantis setup(for an internal application). I'd like to have a custom field where the user can manually enter his/her email id in the "Report Issue Page".
Once this is done is there some way of using this email address to send mail to it?
Thanks in advance

Email sent by mantis not being received.
Hi,
I'd configured SMTP to work with Mantis a week back. Today, i'm trying with a different SMTP, but for some reason these mails aren't arriving in my mailbox.
It's strange because when I try and send a test mail from admin/check.php, I get
Testing Mail - mail() send successful.
