enabe viewing bugs for everybody?

Post by startx »

hi.

im new to mantis, so please don't laugh at me if the questions is too simple, but browsing the config_default_inc.php i cannot find a setting to open simple viewing of bugs to everyone (without a login).

basically what i want is that all users can see the bugtracker (instead of the login page) when they access bugs.foobar.net ?

if i'm simply to stupid to see this option, please point me in a direction where to find it ;)

EDIT

i followed the instructions for "anonymous" login i've found in the forum, but now i get "Your browser either doesn't know how to handle cookies, or refuses to handle them." when trying to login anonymously.

no, its not my browser (firefox, but also others) , it HAS cookies enabled.

sorry for pushing my question one more time, but i have no idea where to look anymore. i followed

http://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/m ... ous_access

step by step.

still i get the error mentioned above. i tested anonymous logins at other mantis pages then mine, where it works fine with my browser, so im quite sure its some config problem.

any ideas where to go from here?

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, did you following the steps in the link below?

Are you able to login normally? If so, then your cookies should be fine.
