empty page after update to 1.1.0

I just tried to update to 1.1.0.
I renamed old mantis directory to mantis-1.0.8, copied over new files and ran admin/upgrade.php. All checks ok.

After i log in, i get an empty html from the server. There is no header as well.

I have php5 with mysql on Suse open server.
I also tried some conversion tricks on the database dump, since all users have Czech utf-8 language set, but it sid not help.

Reverted back to mantis 1.0.8 for time being.
