The mantis System response slowly sometimes!

Sometimes slowly,but sometime quickly!
when mantis is slowly,I find that the database is changed ,but IE is always prossing.

What version are you using? This is typically caused by sending of email notifications. Up-to-date versions support queuing email and sending it through a script that is executed via a cronjob. I would suggest you move to that model. This will give you a consistently faster performance.
