Simplifying Mantis?

Hi There, Sorry if this sounds a little dumb... We are looking for bug software to manage our customers web projects. Mantis is everything that we want, but MUCH more...

My question is, is there an easy way to simplify some of the forms? e.g. Viewing Issue Simple Details page is just too complex for very quick bug for us and our clients. There are quite a few features that we could do without.

Any suggestions... or should i just be looking for something that fits the bill? (any suggestions here would be welcome as well)

hello

please play sources with youself. (i have do it by myelf) but this is an hot issue for me too. i have reported feature an issue like this. i mean every variable must have an boolent extra value. for example category and extra show_category variable. if this is true then show else dont.

maybe vicor add this in future versions

Mantis is designed in a way where if you remove fields from the Simple / Advanced forms, the available and supplied fields are added to the database without errors on the removed fields. This is assuming you don't remove required fields like summary or description.

What you are asking will be doable without editing code once Mantis Templates support is done. This will allow you to add / remove fields as well as change the look 'n' feel of Mantis.
