Is there an warning for a time delay at bug solution?

Is there an option to limit the bug solution time (or follow the time the bug stays in specific "status") and to get warning for a delay, by automatic Email Message and/or by a red flag in the "Viewing Issues" page?
If not, is there any future plan regarding it?

Yes, some kind of deadline, and in case of delay (deadline is over)- getting an Email alert (sent to administrator, manager etc.).
