Prevent developer from closing an issue

How can i Hide"close" status in developers profiles?. i don't want to allow them closing the issues. i need just the tester to do so

In the Manage/Manage Configuration/Workflow Transitions change the value of the 'close' in Access level.

it works well now after i have changed the work flow

but i still have the problem to make only the reporter to close the issue directly

i have twisted around it by changing the work flow so the developer just can move from 'assigned' to 'resolved'

but this is also the matter for the reporter. if he wants to close an issue, he is forced to change it to resolved first !!


changing the access level to reporter for example, permits the developers to close the issue also as a higher level of access

any other ideas?

You would be "violating" a basic flow where the reporter only reports the errors.

Here the change I made was leaving the closing of issues for "admins" (which are the testers) and correction of issues for "developers"
