Hiding the fileds in Mantis report a bug and view a bug

im using Matins v.1.1.1

i wanted to hide a couple of fields in the advance view and did it by editing the columns in the code: bug_report_advanced_page.php
now i want to do the same for bug_view_advanced_page.php and its seems to be quite a job..
is there anyother wayto do it?
like somewhere in config file?

The Assign to list in Mantis is not sortet correctly..
what do i do to sort it by first name?

the personalize fields are too long..
can i decide how long i want these felts to be?
if yes, then i want to know where can i do it

okey..
since i didnt get any help from nay of you people i hve figured it out myself..
may be i have done it the hard way but its working..
i have editet each and every file that has the fields i do not want to vbe shown..
